Did you know that the Council of 3rd Hayling Scout Group, comprises the Leaders, our Executive Committee and all parents of our youth membership.
The Group Council is not an elected body, does not carry any responsibility, has no authority and something from which you can not resign!!. There is one meeting each year to which the whole council is entitled to attend which is our Annual Awards & Presentations Evening.
Each year about 100 people join us to review a year in the life of Hayling Scouts, hear about some of our future plans and some items from our uniformed sections.
Our aim is always to reflect the fun, laughter and success of Scouting on Hayling in a 90 minute slot and as a parent (who is not a leader or member of the Group) said:- "I always enjoy this evening which is always full of laughter and success".
