Second Hand Book Sale

Entry Free View and select from over 10,000 books on sale covering fiction and many non-fiction topics.

  • Wednesday 28th October 2020 - 10:00 to 16:00
  • Thursday 29th October 2020 - 10:00 to 16:00
  • Friday 30th October 2020 - 10:00 to 16:00
  • Saturday 31st October 2020 - 09:00 to 12:00

Being a Bookie

Would you consider becoming one of the "Bookies"?

What's Involved

We are always looking to share the workload by expanding the team. Our sales run three times per year and each sale consists of:-

  • Sorting sessions - to sort the new books and integrating them into the existing stock
  • Selling sessions - primarily to collect the money from our customers
  • The packing away - This is on the last day only and ensures that the HQ is returned ready for use by the sections the following week

Sessions run for a maximum of 3 hours (most are less). Some of our supporters can only do one session, whilst others will commit to 2 or more sessions during the week. Children are welcome and will often help us as well!!
