The David Baker Award for Oliver

Report Date 14/06/12

The "David Baker Award" was first presented in 1996 and is made to a uniformed member of the Hayling Scouts who best demonstrates their commitment to our Scout Law's and Promise. The trophy was presented to the Group by Jane and Tony Baker in commemoration of their son David who had shown great spirit and determination over many years despite suffering from Cystic Fibrosis.

This year the award was presented by Tony Baker to Oliver Boniface, a Cub Scout with Saturn Pack for his commitment shown in helping others and thinking of others before himself. During his time with the Pack, Oliver has always taken an intetrest in the welfare of new Cubs and especially looking after those less fortunate.

Well done Oliver.
