Uniform
So, you are joining one of our sections - Welcome to the 3rd Hayling Scout Group.
Whether you are joining Beavers, Cubs, Scouts or Explorers we encourage you to attend 4 meetings so you can experience a wide range of the activities on offer.
After this it is time to get your uniform and get invested as a member of the group. The uniform consists of a Sweater or Shirt, the type and colour depending on which section you are joining, Scout trousers and belt (which are the same for all sections) and the 3rd Hayling Group neckerchief.
When you have your uniform you will have a chat with you leader about the meaning of the law and promise and then be invested, which means making your promise and receiving your first badges.
You are now ready to start your Scouting journey and start earning the various badges and awards and taking part in the full range of activities.
Where Can I get the Uniform
We ask that you purchase the uniform from the Havant District Scout Shop if you can. This helps to keep the subscription costs lower.
The District Scout Shop is in Fraser Road Havant, opposite the Havant Rugby Club.
