Wood Badge for Ed

Ed was asked to join the Havant Scout District AGM to present to the audience on the Eagle Troop Summer Camp, cycling along the Normandy beaches.
What he did not know was that there was another reason for Ed being there. Ian Stott, the District Commissioner then presented Ed with his Wood Badge which is the award to recognise the completion of the formal Scout Leader training.
The training consists of 18 modules covering First Aid, Child Protection, skills such as camps and programmes and interpersonal skills such as leadership styles, working with adults and managing teams.
