Top Award for Jake

Jake Whistlecraft aged 13, a Patrol Leader with Lion Scout Troop has achieved the top award in the Scout section, the Chief Scout's Gold Award. To complete this award, Jake completed a series of challenges in both Scouting and social topics, including Community Service for which he helped regularly at one of the Beaver Colonies on Hayling and a personal challenge for which he organised a 2-day expedition in the New Forest.
On presenting the award, Nigel Valette the District Commissioner for Havant Scouts congratulated Jake on this achievement and praised the support of the Leaders and Jake's family for their help and support.
