Fireworks in the Rain - well nearly!

Over 70 families battled against the strong winds and driving rain to join our annual fireworks display on the 6th November. Although the rain started in mid afternoon for much of the time it was only a light drizzle but 45 minutes before the start of the display, both the wind and rain increased to soaking proportions.
The Marquee suddenly got very full and the food and drink sales increased.
However at 7:15 with just 15 minutes to go, the rain stopped and we were all able to observe another classy display from Pete Goddard.
