It was a lovely surprise to learn that the Hayling Islander has chosen our Scout Group to receive a donation of £1 for every Island Calendar sold.
You may have seen in the October edition of the Islander that this is in recognition of our Centenary year and for the support given to over 160 young people of Hayling each week.
Thank you very much to the team at the Islander office and the money will be put towards bringing some fun activities at our Group Fun Day in 2008.
