Joel Completes Chief Scouts Award

Joel Knight of Lion Troop received his Chief Scouts Gold Award, the top award of the section. To complete this award Joel, 14, completed a series of challenges throughout his time in Scouts, including the Outdoor challenge which combines both camping and adventurous activities. In addition, for his personal project Joel organsied a days activity at Lion Troops summer camp - an event which was enjoyed by the Scouts taking part.
Presenting the award, Ian Hawke, the Group Scout Leader for Hayling, praised Joel on his efforts and also thanked his parents and the leaders for their significant contribution to his great achievement.
