Jobs in our Scout Group
There are many jobs and roles required to support a Scout Group. In 2003 we analysed the management of our Group and defined each role identified including the commitment required and also a target structure to help our Leaders.
Subscriptions Secretary | Managers Subs Collection | Cleaner | Kitchen, Toilets, rooms etc |
Subscriptions Admin | One per section to collect subs | Second Hand Uniform | Runs our 2nd Hand Uniform collection & sales |
Gift Aid Secretary | Management of Gift Aid | Groundsman | Grass cutting & maint. |
Badge Secretary | Handles Badge requests | Maintenance Teams | Plumber, Electrician, etc etc |
Skill Teams | Skills instructors | Events Organiser | Organise one of our events |
We are very lucky in having the support of many parents and friends for the roles listed above and also helping with our fund raising events, our section activities, staffing bases or by offering transport.
